Guidelines for wearing masks for patients with vitiligo


Because patients with vitiligo wear masks for a long time, their skin suffers mechanical damage such as friction and extrusion, and even causes the spread of white spots.
There are a few things to note when wearing a mask.
Use a preventive dressing.
Foam dressings, transparent film dressings, and hydrocolloidal dressings can be used to prevent pressure damage.
Clean your face and apply dressings. Put on a mask.
After use, the horizontal force can be removed.
Check and evaluate skin condition regularly.
Assess at least twice a day. If redness, swelling and injury are found, adequate rest and appropriate treatment should be given.

Whether it is going to the gym, joining a sports club, walking, swimming or just running up and down a few stairs at home or jogging on the spot for 10 minutes. You will find that you want to increase your exercise as you get used to your routine.

Always follow a healthy diet. Eat a variety of fresh foods. Eat and drink in moderation, don’t overindulge.
